Drinking juice should be a pleasure, and we have developed all our recipes with that guideline in mind. Taste fruits and vegetables that are not typically found in juice format, discover new tastes and surprising combinations. Cold-pressing, our juice extraction technique, helps dramatically lower oxidation compared to centrifugal extraction, and therefore preserves antioxidants much better.
Enzymes are substances naturally present in raw foods, that help the breakdown into nutrients and thus improve digestion and nutrient absorption. Enzymes are very sensitive to heat, and are typically damaged in centrifugal juice extraction, and completely destroyed by pasteurization (which is why we cold-press and don’t pasteurize…).
Super-Juices actively help the gut flora to re-balance, should it need it. This in turn helps digestion and transit comfort, as well as offload the immune system, since our gut flora is our first wall against unwanted invaders.
Your best bet is to drink our beverages away from meals to get the most out of the drinks and avoid perturbating your digestion: at least 20 minutes before or two hours later. Many people are adepts of drinking juice in place of the first and potentially also the second meal of the day. This is called “liquid until” (until lunch or dinner). Juices do not replace meals in terms of calories and macronutrients, but they can allow for fewer meals par day, so fewer (and thus more efficient) digestive processes, which means more energy.

Moreover, taking your time will save you from lowering your body temperature and dilute your gastric juices (if you take juices before meals).
Even if the juice must be kept refrigerated, when time comes to enjoy it, let its temperature rise a little. Once again, this will mean more intense flavor and less possibility to lower your body temperature (which saves your body the energy to restore its temperature level).
